Thanks so much for this response - it was articulated well. I appreciate that you took the time to read my article. You also provided some great context by way of explaining why you publish Christian Pollution, which was encouraging to read.
As you might expect, I cannot say I agree that Christianity is implausible and that all apologists present its plausibility in intellectually dishonest ways, but I can understand why someone might think that (particularly when it comes to the bridge between natural theology and a specific religion).
Because my article has not been received well by some, I apologize if my words caused any offense. In the simplest possible terms, I hope my article was read as a call to action to do better. However, it seems some saw it as an attack on your freedom to critique Christianity or as just another instance of some egotistical preacher sanctimoniously wagging his finger from his high pulpit. If it matters, I can assure you that none of that was my intent.
