If you really want to get down to the brass tacks of the human experience, then essentially everything we think about ourselves and even think about the Universe is all emergent to some extent or another. It really depends on whether or not you think human beings are born with "pre-loaded" personalities, emotions, memories, knowledge, or beliefs. In my opinion, we do not (to a very large extent). And so any belief or concept - whether about God or about the Universe or about ourselves - ultimately cannot escape the charge that it is emergent.
